Slatted
This slatted bed base is suitable for all Varia mattresses. Moreover it is also ideal for all adolescent mattresses in the Baumberger range. This robust base is made from un-treated solid beech wood. Like most of our items, it is produced in house. Its low height dimensions make the Varia Medio widely compatible, even with very low depth bed frames. The bed slats include a reinforced centre to regulate firmness.

Medio
Slatted
The frame is made from 100 % untreated beech wood. Medio is offered either as fixed, back height adjustable, or back-foot height adjustable options. All models are metal free constructions. The beech slats are secured with synthetic rubber slat holders, which run flush with the frame and make the Medio frame flexible, even at the edges. It has a reinforced centre to regulate firmness. It is suitable for all ‚Classic’ products and many other Baumberger mattresses.

Ergo-Balance
Slatted
Solid, strong locally sourced beech wood is the main material for the Ergo-Balance bed. The magic of slat suspension creates incredible spring action, by simply resting firm slats on an elastic surface. The special feature of this system is the slats literally hover on the frame, moving freely even to the sides. This gives them a movement range of about 5 cm, providing an optimum contour, responding to the shifting planes of your body in every sleeping position. The Ergo-Balance mattress offers a flexible, free moving shoulder comfort zone, which is particularly comfortable and noticeable in the side-sleeping position. Ergo-Balance is easy to repair, free of metal or synthetic materials and is made without glued elements.

Ergo-Arvenso
Zirben plate slat grid
Full flexibility, the body is literally sensory scanned. This is the attribute of the so-called plate grates. Most of them contain a lot of metal and plastic. The starting material for the Ergo-Arvenso is called pine or pine wood. Solid beech wood serves as a substructure. Even in the adjustable variants, stable wooden fittings are used. Thus, Ergo-Arvenso is completely metal-free.
Ergo-Arvenso can do even more: it has a particularly efficient lowering in the shoulder area, which can yield to the bottom, but also to the sides. In addition, softer spring elements in the shoulder and in the hip area ensure increased ergonomic adaptation. The essential oils of the pinewood have proven to be soothing.
